Our story
Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
Driven by passion
We're not here to follow trends—we're here to build something timeless. With a blend of creativity, strategy, and heart, we help ideas come to life. Every project we take on is an opportunity to learn, grow, and do something meaningful. We treat our clients like partners and our work like craft.
Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.

Yes. Draft them now, keep them unpublished or unlinked, and turn them on when you leave the gym. Below is the set I would actually open: a homepage that speaks only to the people you want, an About page that ends with one clothing link, a workshops page for departments, a private-session page with a boundary, and a clothing page with a short makers note at the bottom. The voice is practical, a little selective, and light on spa language. People who want a quick rub will feel this is not for them. People who want tools they can use on shift will stay.HomepageUnwind – Body & MindPractical recovery for people whose work is hard on the body.I bring short, useful sessions to teams, departments, and small groups. Low-back and mobility workshops, lung-capacity classes, and hands-on recovery for people who do not have time for a spa day. Most of the work is on-site. Private sessions are by arrangement.Who this is for
Fire, police, and other first responders who need tools they can use between calls
Hospital and office teams dealing with long shifts, sore backs, and no real recovery window
Athletes and small groups who want mobility and recovery work, not a lecture
Individuals who want a private session and already know this is bodywork, not entertainment
What a visit usually isA 30- or 60-minute workshop built around one problem: low back, hips, breathing, or the strain that shows up after a shift. People leave with two or three movements they can repeat on their own. No mats required unless you want them. No fluff.Private sessions are separate. Those are one-to-one, quieter, and scheduled directly.Start hereIf you are booking for a team or department, write with the group size, the main complaint, and a few times that could work.UnwindWithChristine@gmail.com (mailto:UnwindWithChristine@gmail.com)Senior and first-responder consideration on private work. Workshops are a flat fee.AboutMeet ChristineI am Christine, founder of Unwind – Body & Mind. The name comes from craniosacral unwinding: a gentle release in the connective tissue, often with some of the tension stored there. The body and the mind move together. I treat the person in front of me, not a list of symptoms.I started reading about this work in high school, received my first Reiki attunement while serving in the Army, and later used the GI Bill for clinical massage school. I have a bachelor’s degree in management, a stretch of years in records and information work, and later training in Thai massage. I have opened Unwind twice in Hobart. The studio chapter is closing. The teaching and hands-on work is not. What I do now is mostly on-site. Departments, teams, and small groups get practical sessions they can use on the job. Private sessions are for people who want slower, more specific work: Thai massage, craniosacral unwinding, polarity, and a blend of techniques I sometimes describe as shamanic massage. I also support people living with lymphedema with gentle circulation and comfort tools between their professional treatments. I do not diagnose, and I do not replace a certified lymphedema therapist or a medical plan.If you want a workshop for your team, write to me. If you want a private session, write to me. I take a limited number of each.I also make one-of-a-kind upcycled jeans and dusters. That work lives on its own page.Workshops and on-site workWe come to youBuilt for departments that are tired, tight, and short on time. The session I am asked for most is a low-back and mobility workshop using yoga blocks and simple movements. It runs 30 to 60 minutes. People leave with something they can do in a chair, in a bay, or at home. I also teach lung-capacity classes over several weeks. Breathing capacity improves, and everything else gets a little easier. These are not wellness fairs. I would rather teach one useful thing well.A good fit
Fire and police departments
Hospital units and office teams with physical jobs or long desk hours
Small athletic groups

Not a fitLarge expos, party bookings, or groups that want a novelty massage station. How to bookEmail the group size, the main problem you want addressed, and two or three possible times. I will answer with a flat fee and a simple plan.UnwindWithChristine@gmail.com (mailto:UnwindWithChristine@gmail.com)Private sessionsPrivate work, by arrangementOne-to-one sessions for people who want deeper work than a workshop can offer.Sessions can include deep-tissue Thai massage, craniosacral unwinding, polarity, and intuitive hands-on work aimed at old tension, scar tissue, and the places that will not let go. Lengths are usually 60 or 90 minutes. A shorter session is sometimes enough. For lymphedema, the work is supportive: gentle circulation, swelling comfort, and a calm session that can sit alongside the care you already have. Bring your therapist’s guidance if you have it. I will not override it.I keep the calendar small. Write with what is going on and what you want to be different. I will tell you honestly if I am the right person.UnwindWithChristine@gmail.com (mailto:UnwindWithChristine@gmail.com)First-responder consideration available. Some sessions may be payable by HSA or FSA with your plan’s approval.Made goodsOne-of-a-kind jeans and dustersUpcycled, cut and rebuilt by hand, and sold as single pieces.
